Lactation Support

Empowering Your Feeding Journey

Breastfeeding provides vital nutrients, strengthens your baby’s immune system, and fosters bonding. However, we understand that every family’s journey is unique, and we are here to support you in feeding your baby in the way that works best for you.

Our Philosophy: Fed is Best

At Roots of Hope Perinatal Services, we encourage breastfeeding because of its many benefits, but we firmly believe that Fed is Best. Whether you choose to breastfeed, formula-feed, or use donor milk, our priority is ensuring your baby is nourished, healthy, and thriving.

Perinatal Mental Health Support

The perinatal period—during pregnancy and postpartum—can bring immense joy, but it can also bring challenges. Perinatal mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, are common and treatable. You don’t have to face these struggles alone, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

What Are Perinatal Mental Health Conditions?

Depression or anxiety during pregnancy (antenatal depression/anxiety).

Postpartum depression, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Trauma or PTSD from birth experiences.

Postpartum psychosis (rare but serious).

Why Support Matters:

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health during this time. Addressing these challenges can lead to better outcomes for both you and your baby.
